We are so fortunate 11 Months, 1 Week ago
We are fortunate that we don't have to do all of the ritual anymore that we find in the end part of Exodus. I think it makes us look a little lethargic when we struggle to have time with God.

That's so true. We really do have it so easy compared to the Israelites then. Jesus did all the hard work and gave us free and complete access to the Father 24/7, but we so often take that for granted hey.

amen!

but i'd like to say that God is really smart. haha. he did the hard work so we could be saved by faith and not by works lest anyone should boast. other religions/beliefs make u do and do things and people end up not truly believing in it anyway.

its quite a strain to take up your cross daily.. but thank God that he's taken the pain out of the strain

That's true, salvation by grace is far better.... though as Hebrews reminds us, the penalty for neglecting it is also that much worse....

Yes... It's so easy to forget that by grace we were saved and by grace we do not have to carry our own burden of sin that has been nailed on the cross with Jesus when he died. We don't have to work for our own salvation and we don't have to carry out all those "works" to ensure our place in heaven. It had already been promised to us!

I'd say that God did an amazing thing for us when Jesus died on the cross and an even more amazing thing when He rose from the dead. It reminds me over and over that I'm a born again Christian whose sins have been washed away andn is now made new.
