Even though I've read Joshua a couple of times before, I feel like I've never noticed how much of the book was devoted to allocating lands to the tribes. It's incredibly amazing that when the Israelites trusted in God, He gave them complete victory over every enemy nation in the Land. But it's perhaps equally amazing that He cares for them so much as to be concerned about where they live, not to mention scattering the Levites amongst the tribes so that priests could always be among them to teach and remind and help.
It's easy to forget that God is interested and even has plans for the small details of my life.
